● Downloads forced on External Storage (Aurora)
● Delete apk post install set to false by default.
● Version code appended to package name.
● All Split-apk files are prefixed with package name.
● Downlaoded files are not deleted when download list is cleared from the menu only in case if you have enabled “downlaod all in one” option)
● Auto cache cleaning is disabled (so now downloaded apks won’t be removed from Aurora folder unless removed manually or “Delete apk post install” is enabled.)

● New option added under “Settings – Downloads”
– “Download all in one directory”
— This is disabled by default so all downloads will be in their respective folders based on package names under Aurora’s cache which is the default behavior.
— Enabling this will force downloading all files in a single level directory which is “sdcard/Aurora” but will break installations.

Aurora Store Overview

The ability to download and install applications from the PlayStore without relying on the Play Market application and Google services. Is a fork of the application Yalp Store in the style of material design 2.0 and some new features. Yalp Store is a nicely written app, however, it lacks Material Design, Sergey Yeriomin has explicitly stated he would not make UI/UX modifications since his goal is to support devices from Android 2. x to 8. x which is acceptable. Adding up new Material UI Libraries would raise the app size, which would contradict its purpose in the context of older devices.

Also to have broader device compatibility, the Yalp Store utilizes certain deprecated Android Libraries/Methods which have (minor) Security/Memory Leak concerns.

Some of us attempt to avoid Google Play Services as much as possible, due to the Memory Usage/Storage Space/Privacy/Unwanted Updates.
But not all of us use Devices with Lower RAM and Internal Memory, therefore I thought of rebuilding Yalp Store
